Haitham al Katib, Photojournalist, Bil’in, West Bank

Haitham is a photojournalist living in Bil’in near Ramallah, where weekly protests by the local people, internationals and Israeli citizens (peace activists) takes place every Friday. He prepares himself for the demonstrations by putting on a bullet proof vest, a metal helmet with a camera on top, and a face mask to avert the tear gas. He is also the author of the book on the coffee table entitled “Occupied Palestine”.
